Filtered water means no plastic bottles - ever!
Passing Taipei 101 as the world's tallest building in April 2008 even though it was still only a little over half its expected height, the mighty Burj Dubai is an incredible sight, and probably not the first place you'd expect to see an Australian kitchen appliance! In fact the original design for the Burj Dubai was a replica of the proposed (and later scrapped) Melbourne Grollo Tower project.
The Burj Dubai (literally, "Dubai Tower") is a not merely an incredibly tall building: it is actually the centrepiece of an entire city currently being built from scratch (or more precisely, from sand!) by an international consortium in Dubai. Seen here from helicopter, photographed by UK Photographer David Hobcote.
The Burj is the latest super-skyscraper designed by Adrian Smith of Chicago Illinois, consulting design partner at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill - the global leader in creating supertall structures.
"Haven. Retreat. Oasis."
With the Burj nearing completion, the project's Interior Designers have specified Zip HydroTap within several clients' homes (including the Penthouse!) ensuring that the interiors echo the external structure's luxury, as well as its environmental and design aspirations.
No other Instant Boiling Water system is as awarded, easy to use, efficient or as safe as the Zip HydroTap, so its presence in this project is not surprising!

PS: "Dubai will be home to at least six tall towers exceeding 100 floors"
Despite its mind-blowing scale, the Burj Dubai may not stay the tallest for long! Archinomy - a great blog on World Architecture - has the story here. Stay tuned for news of Zip Instant Boiling Water systems in even more super skyscrapers!
Halfway through construction a couple of European base jumpers went off the Burj - watch the entire thing on youTube!
